Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live in Beijing and admittedly haven't been very active on Couchsurfing recently. However, always happy to meet and take you out for a good ol' dinner in Beijing or drinks!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Absolutely great! Lost my couchsurfing virginity during a wonderful stay in winter-wonderland Leavenworth, WA, USA; and learned about the beauty of Japanese-style toilets with an experienced couchsurfer in Chicago.

So much for taking... On the giving side, I met with a German couchsurfer who traveled to Beijing and we had a fun evening with food, beer and travel tips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled on the Mainland China side along the Tibetan border, over the mountain ranges that make up the mystical and beautiful Shangri-La. The various 24-hour bus rides were quite bumpy, and thus painful for even the toughest traveler`s butt. But the incredible beauty of the nature and the friendly Buddhist temple monks made the trip oh so worthwhile!

Drove down Highway 1 from San Francisco to LA. Never thought that the West Coast would be soooo pretty!

Teach, Learn, Share

I will be willing to share with you my story, e.g. entertaining anecdotes from my experiences across the globe.

Countries I’ve Visited
