About Me

Open-minded, kind and empathetic Polish girl, currently Erasmus student living in Porto, Portugal. I was supposed to be there only for one semester but fell in love with the city, so I had to stay longer. In Porto, I discover something new every day. I love to lay on the grass in the park and read, write or just breath. I'm trying my best to be more present and conscious. I love finding, what I call, micro-delights in everyday life. I hope I can share some of these reflections with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet inspiring people and I think Couchsurfing is a perfect spot for that, but I still didn't have any experience with that, unfortunately! Gotta change it soon. When I have a free spot I want to host people but until this moment I'm a guide in Porto for my friends! I can guide you too!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have favourite music genre, but among all different types these I like the most are: indie rock, indie folk, alternative and rock. Currently listening with passion Arctic Monkeys, Greta van Fleet, Tame Impala. I can introduce you to Polish music if you only want! We have a good one, trust me :)

I really like documentaries like "Honeyland" or "Salt of Earth" and "nice and warm" films like "Big Fish", "American Dinner". I need to admit that "Too Hot to Handle" is my guilty pleasure, please don't tell anyone ;)

Recently I'm reading a lot of reportage book about different subcjets: from Oman and Iran to cultural genocide of indigenous people of North America and migration. But in general I read different things. One of my favourite books is Man's Search for a Meaning. This book changed my perspective on life A LOT. Huge reccomendation!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked through the Balkans and wild camped. On that trip I slept in a tent at the edge of a forest, near the lake, gravel pit and... on the Way of the Cross.

I got an Erasmus sholarship, so I'm living in Portugal right now. I can drink vine for EU money ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm studying sociology and my favourite fields in this social science are gender studies, development and Inequalities. I always have interesting facts about different subjects I love to spread :)
