About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hm...Mission? Well, as is probably the case with most people out here, I want to experience other cultures and make some new friends abroad.
ABOUT ME
Hi there. I'm Justin. I live in one of the coolest places in Texas: Austin. The latest surveys calculate that around 200 people a day are moving here. So basically, Austin is exploding. The main reason for this is that there's abundant cultural offerings here. Austin is like the Portland or San Francisco of the South West. Anyway...I love traveling, and want to do much more. The foreign is always exotic, right? Plus I'd just like to expand my roster of international friends. So far I've only hosted couch surfers and its been an overwhelmingly positive experience. Someday soon I'll switch roles and become the surfer!
PHILOSOPHY
Personal philosophy: leave the world a better place than it was before your entrance into it. Be kind to people. Buck convention and mainstream morals. Have fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well...I figured I'd host a few people in order to get some good recommendations, then start my own travels abroad. I'll give as much time as I'm capable to show you around and aid in enhancing your positive experience here. I know where all the good music venues are if you're into that, and there are lots of other cool things to see as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Haven't done any couch surfing with strangers yet. Certainly slept on friends couches before.
Interests
I'm really into music, being a musician. So I go out to hear live music a lot. I read for pleasure, go to lots of movies (there's an awesome chain of local theaters here that serve food and drinks and show tons of interesting movies and special events).
