~ I love singing… don’t you? It’s not much of a talent but for me it’s ok. Well, we all know that the bathroom is where all the talents in the world go to waste. Slowly flushed in the toilet, then again it is a Stage for those who are like me. I resent guessing, but I know everybody sings in the bathroom (I’m proud for being one of them) The thing is, I noticed some people thought that I’m the singer(He’s my cousin, it’s such a coincidence that our name are the same) I don’t sing in front of an audience, it’s scary… I’ll get this freakish stage fright, where I sweat feverishly a lot and my skin turns RED, then I bloat and I stop breathing as if my tongue was clogging my throat, I can DIE instantaneously… Hahaha... Leave the last bit out… I completely exaggerated that bit just to make a joke out of it… (wish you can see the funny gestures I’m doing right now)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Capturing everyday life abroad is priceless. I want to get amazed by the diversity of our world and its people. I want my guest to experienced life in different neighbourhoods, different foods, different values and it gave me a good idea of what existing in that country, over all, could be like.
And also Make new friends everywhere, Living with people creates unforgettable bounds.

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS I love fantasy. I have an amazing ability to completely lose myself in whatever I am reading. I enjoy Nora Roberts, I love Anne Rice, Anne McCaffrey, Stephenie Meyer, Phillip Pullman(The Golden Compass Trilogy), Christopher Paolini (Eragon & Eldest), and just generally anything the involves a mystical plot line. I occasionally read Stephen King when I can get past the first few chapters... his stuff normally starts out sooooo slow.

MOVIES As far as movies go, I generally lean the same direction as books. With the added ingredient of Drama. I love The Illusionist and The Prestige. I enjoy action flicks, Die Hard, Armageddon, The Rock, The Net. I'm not a huge comedy fan... though I will indulge on occasion when there is nothing else to watch and I'm bored. I love cartoons and watch Disney movies faithfully... Bedknobs and Broomsticks is still a favorite. My most recent favorites are The Spiderwick Chronicles and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.

MUSIC, I will not listen to anything I cannot understand due to the amount of screaming involved. I am generally not a huge rap fan either. I enjoy current jazz (Corinne Bailey Rae), Blues/Soul(Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Fiona Apple, Bill Withers) Alternative(Tori Amos, Flyleaf, Audioslave, Pearl Jam, Nickelback, ) Folk Rock (DMB, K's Choice, Blind Melon, Damien Rice, Jack's Mannequin) Classic Rock (bob marley, Pink Floyd, The Doors, CCR, etc.)Some Metal... Some Country... and what I call chick music... Pink, Joan Osbourne, Tristania, The Veronicas. I also like Opera and Musicals. As you can tell my house is NEVER quiet. I don't operate well without Music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach public speaking for a while because i think Speaking in public is an important skill throughout school and in life. Trying to master it can trigger fear and anxiety in many students.[Learning to talk confidently in front of an audience, whether big or small, is something that will benefit your students throughout their lives.
