About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to take a look at myself to make a change to make the world a better place :-)
ABOUT ME
Most of all, I love sunshine, as from my experience it's not only myself feeling better and being in a better mood but it's everybody being nicer once the sun is shining. Moreover, I could not live without animals (dogs and (wild) cats most of all) and good, smiling people who enjoy their life, are easy-going, intellingent, have sense of humour and don't fuss. What I really can't stand is arrogance and hysterics.
PHILOSOPHY
Destiny will show more... Be patient, fair and humble.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am quite new to CS. However, I have heard a lot and I plan to work out...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I only spent three days in Seattle at a nice and kind CS host.
Interests
Books, interesting people, challenging opportunities, nature, and historical buildings and artefacts from the beginning of the 20th century. Anyway, I spend my time even working, studying, doing sports (swimming, tennis, horse-riding, biking, (cross-country as well as downhill) skiing, ...), dancing and listening to music.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: all genres - from classique, thru swing, electro-swing, electro, house, d'n'b, disco, r'n'b, hip-hop, rap, up to rock. No metal, hard rock, punk etc.
Movies: good for chillout, if the time allows... but that does not happen very often :/
Books: anything interesting. The more pages, the better (usually).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As my naive childhood dream has been to tame wild cats, I shall never forget the moment once I got to accidentally meet a lady walking a wild cat in a park in Prague. At first, I could not believe my eyes as she had it on leash. I couldn't stop myself from going nearer and starting to talk to her. Finally, I was able/allowed to pet the cat...
People don't like sad stories, right, and so it has no sense to point out moments that left me awestruck in the negative sense (finding out that a friend of yours died through Facebook only after another friend of theirs notices that you have posted something on their wall and show mercy by letting you know what happened and that your friend will never be able to answer your message...) (you then just wonder what Facebook is about... as a part of this social network may become some kind of a graveyard as those profiles are still active...).
Let me just tell you one nice thing that awestruck me lately. It is the kindness and readiness of Canadian Mensans, especially the ones in Victoria, BC. Since I knew I would go to Victoria, BC, to study I was really desperate to find a place to stay. I contacted the Mensa CA, got contact details of the BC section and through them have been contacted by a young lady who without even knowing me was so kind to pick me up at the airport and provide me with accommodation at her friends where she moved to with me as her place was too small for the two of us. They let me stay there for the first few days and were even happy to bring me downtown anytime I needed to attend the university orientation sessions...
