Overview
About Me
I just graduated from Iowa State University with a major in chemical engineering and am currently working and residing in St. Louis. I am the youngest of five kids (two brothers and two sisters) in my family.
You could most often find me playing my favorite sport soccer, watching movies until I can quote the entire film, listening to Mumford & Sons, reading books because there is nothing greater than the smell of an open book, and constantly giving into the temptation of my favorite food, ice cream.
I am introverted, but that doesn't mean I don't love adventures (especially if they involve the outdoors), trying new activities or foods, and hearing people's travelling stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I originally joined Couchsurfing while I studied abroad in Europe.
Interests
I LOVE playing and watching soccer! I'm also an avid movie-watcher, book-reader, and world-explorer. I enjoy hiking and biking and all things with the outdoors.
When I grow up, I want to be the proud owner of a beautiful fawn pug because they are the most adorable, hilarious, and playful dogs around. I haven't decided on the name yet though. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a part of a mission trip a couple years ago where I got to live in a village in the Dominican Republic. We spent two weeks there, assisting the locals with building concrete floors in their houses and latrines in their yards with the equipment and materials that we fundraised for. It was an amazing experience and the first time I had ever left the United States.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share my passion of soccer with everyone I meet. More often than not back at home, you can find me either practicing for an upcoming game for my club team or playing pick-up with friends and strangers. It's one of the best and fastest ways that I've met people.
I love learning new things, either in regards to history, language, culture, culinary. The idea of getting to engage with locals is really exciting!
