Hi! I’m Faye. Travelling right now from Bolivia to hopefully Canada by the end of the year - we will see! I’m studying historical linguistics and philosophy in Berlin, but after two years of studying in my room, I needed a break. I’m originally from Amsterdam and the north of the Netherlands, but have been living in Germany for more then ten years. I have five siblings, three parents and a heart for animals.

Estoy estudiando lingüística histórica y filosofía en Berlín, pero después de dos años estudiando en mi habitación, necesitaba un descanso. While backpacking I noticed that I am missing out a lot because I only meet people, who are backpacking as well. I missed a personal connection to the country, culture and it’s people. I really hope to have found that here.

I love to do a cultural exchange, meaning I love talking about experiences of anyone’s daily life’s, opinions and stereotypes.
I love food and can cook well, especially a family dish of mine: courgette-lemon pasta. I am also a language teacher, so I can show you some basics of English or German e.g.

Me encanta hacer un intercambio cultural, es decir, me encanta hablar de experiencias de la vida cotidiana, opiniones y estereotipos.
Me encanta la comida y sé cocinar bien, especialmente un plato familiar mío: pasta con calabacín y limón. También soy profesora de idiomas, así que puedo enseñarte algunas nociones básicas de inglés o alemán, por ejemplo.
