About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish this ski season with no injuries, I just learnt 2 new tricks in the park :-D

ABOUT ME

I have a great group of friends who I love to spend time with. Most recently we spent time in the hot tub looking on to the mountains at Whistler. I asked them, 'how would you describe me'? along with some digressing jokes and fabulous memories we came up with a few things.
We know that I am bubbly and love to make jokes causing a ruckus of laughter. I am easy going but enthusiastic and encourage my friends to achieve their goals in the same way that I strive to achieve my own.
As much as I enjoy going out I love relaxed evenings and chilling out like spending time at the movies.
I am clean, respectful , friendly and polite, making me a very desirable housemate.
I also love to meet new people and learn different cultures and opinions on life as this is what will help to broaden your horizons.

PHILOSOPHY

I tell myself to do whatever I want, how ever I can do it and whatever it takes me to do it. I havn't figured much more out yet but I know I am having the most fun ever!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just had my second surfer and I'm loving it so far!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed on two couches so far and my experiences were awesome!! I learnt how to make sushi.

Interests

I figured that since I left home over 19 months ago and have put up with some -40 degrees storms and cold summers just for skiing, this is my biggest hobby. I love to live life on the edge and take time to plan new activities I have never done before; most recently I went sit skiing.
I love to bake and make meals for my friends and be challenged by new cooking influences.
Mostly I love to travel and I want to find the most beautiful inspirational experience that will fulfil me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently reading The Girl that played with fire,
(as recommended by other travelers) the books are really good so far and I left the first with a girl I met in Quebec.
I am pretty open minded with music and I'm quite into dub-step right now but I am not so keen on Heavy metal music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

La Push.
Just hidden in the top left of Washington in the United States I found the most satisfying and beautiful inner peace. The sacred three beaches of La Push appropriately named, first, second and third are some inexplainable massage to the soul. Whilst there I felt complete peace, I appreciated every aspect of the natural beauty and was in awe of the land.
To camp and hike here I felt incredibly lucky and my reply to every person who has asked me where they should visit on the 101, I tell them,'you'll have never seen it all until you have been to La Push'.

Chicago.
A lucky brief encounter with a girl in Minneapolis ended up with me couch surfing with some Chinese students in Chicago. A small language barrier was quickly over come with cocktails at a party which they hosted in their downtown apartment. They made a mad selection of home cooked chinese dishes and there was a huge mix of cultures invited. To show my appreciation I made a traditional English Sunday roast dinner including Yorkshire Puddings!
I spent the days touring the intense city with the breath taking architecture, including taking a trip up the Willis Tower to the Sky Deck. I aslo went to the John Shedd aquarium which is one of the best in the world.
All in all the city kept me thoroughly entertained and I will for sure be going back there again some time in the future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share my interests in music and my ever growing views on life. I'm not shy on my opinions but I'm incredibly open minded and up for almost anything. If the opportunity is there you should take it!
Contrary to what a lot of people may say I don't think travelling is for everyone. Personally I love to share my own experiences to give people new ideas and reach out further. In return my goals and ambitions have got bigger and bigger thanks to hearing about everyone elses.
