Overview
About Me
I love food, I think people who enjoy food are the best kind of people to hang out with.
I was once inspired to be a fine dining chef, thinking that it would be my way to express my love for food. I then realized all I want is family food, street food, hawker food, and all other food of love.
As I travel, I feel more and more proud to be a Southeast Asian. We've got intestines and guts made out of steel pots, allowing us to stomach food cooked by the roadside, and survive, while enjoying these not-so-hygienic-yet-yummy food of terror.
I love meeting people.
Seeing people of different background is always a great opportunity for me to view life from a different pair of eyes. Sometimes the road gets a little bumpy and we end up meeting the wrong people but it's alright, the world is full of good people. We just have to believe in mankind.
I am currently a university student at Leiden University. Moved to the Netherland in August 2015, now living in Den Haag.

Meeting with new people is something I enjoy immensely. Every now and then you meet someone new, someone with a whole different background, it helps you gain new perspectives in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dived in a cage among the great white sharks in Cape Town, South Africa. Fishy, but it was awesome.
Went cycling by myself around Koh Samui, Thailand, for 2 days 1 night. Slept at the beach and woke up with the mesmerizing view of sunrise.
In 2012 I decided to do my SEA tour so I went to Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand for 4 and a half months. Bought a bike in Laos, got attacked by monkeys in Cambodia, fell in love with the elephant herders of Isaan in Thailand, and met a bunch of kind souls in Myanmar.
