ABOUT ME

seasoned traveler, but new to couch surfing. not sure what took me so long to try it, but was recently reminded about it while traveling through El Salvador.

most of my travels have revolved around surfing, but i am trying to expand my horizons. i still travel like a student, with little more than a backpack and a guide book; i dislike itineraries and prefer to figure things out as i go along. i am eager to experience the local culture, wherever I go, and love making new friends. i enjoy good food, good times, and great conversation.

this summer/fall, i'll be spending five weeks in europe. the first two, i will be on an arctic expedition in svalbard, sighting polar bears before our ice caps melt. i wanted to make a stop in paris and take in some sights and culture before heading to the coasts of france and spain, where i'm hoping to find waves and couches to surf.

based out of Venice Beach and am happy to host whenever possible, but on the road tons and really, barely there. that said, happy to host wherever i end up...next stop, seattle, washington.
