Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I travel for business, hotels are usually provided and even transportation allowance, so this is purely for the sake of getting acquainted with my hosting city/country and its locals. Being a business traveler, it gets lonely and alienating so I'm taking advantage to get to know some locals.

In Manila I can show people good places to eat or give tips on the nearest beach/island destination.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I get to know a lot of people in my host city because of work. When I travel alone, that's when I would reach out to couchsurfing.org to just have good conversations with locals. My first couch surfing experience was in Europe. made friends with locals from Belgium and France.
