Open minded and happy to discover any new interesting food, music, philosophy or else. When I am convinced about something it is though pretty hard to make me change my mind but that usually leads to some interesting discussion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first enjoyed Couch Surfing as a surfer and I must say I have had really good experiences. As I wasn't planning some big travel and that I liked the concept, I thought I could discover the other side of the experience and host people. And here I am, happy to host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All in all very good. The only thing is you have to plan a little bit in advance when you want to surf somewhere which kinds of takes some of the spontaneity of the travel away.

Interests

I really enjoy music! I like to discover local traditional music, enjoy listening to classical music (I especially like the piano, very replenishing) and I love the freedom and expressiveness of jazz.
I kind of like techno and disco stuff to go out, dance and be crazy as well!

Apart of music, I like to do some sport too. I very much like running. And I like to do some bicycling too (mountain bike). I am enjoying hiking as well. And since I spent all my childhood in the alps, I love skiing and cross country skiing!

And of course, since I am here, I enjoy traveling. I especially like to meet new people and immerse myself into new cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During summer 2012 I cycled for 3 weeks in Indonesia, Sumatra, and that was honestly just magic!
I really like that mode of traveling and might consider traveling so later.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you play an instrument, we can jam together.
I can teach you a bit of Schwiizerdütsch (swiss german) if you like.
Otherwise, I am gonna try to learn spanish pretty soon I think.
But in principle I am happy to share anything! ...I guess...
