About Me

CURRENT MISSION

From Paris to Istanbul. After, East Europe. Then, Germany and Netherlands. I'm looking forward to discover places and meet people... on the road, ever!

ABOUT ME

I had never heard about the child book "Mr. Man" until I met Frank, an 11 years old boy. It was during a trip in Ireland. Frank used to call me Mr. Helpful. And I have liked his "Mr. Man" book collection. Each book has a character, the "Mr." (or "Little Miss"). Each character has a specific personality â

PHILOSOPHY

Apollonian and Dionysian/ Is better to be happy than be sad, but it takes a bit of sadness to make a good Samba/ Natural law of meeting people/ Is better go by walk, because then you can see the way and meet people during the journey

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2005, when this community didn't exist yet, I stayed, with some friends, in the house of four Mexicans girls, during a trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina. We had met in the street, when I and my friends were looking for a hostel. I wonder: have that already been CouchSurfing?

Music, Movies, and Books

Love reading (especially the classics), love listening music (punk and progressive rock, all Brazilian music/ classic/ jazz/ folk/ rap/ alternative), love watching movies (at my slow time/ I don't mind to not be up to date).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Ireland and England, as a WWOOFer, I fed wild horses during a beautiful sunset and I kept sheep in a very green grass field. In La Paz, Bolívia, I climbed up Chacaltaya, a mountain where was the world's highest ski area – the ice of the peak of Chacaltayra has melt at all. With friends, I have gone, by car, from São Paulo (Brazil) until Buenos Aires (Argentina) – crossing the Pampas along all the coast of Uruguay. In Salvador (Brazil), I have eaten the best dish of fish – called “moqueca”. In Rio de Janeiro, I have been in the Festival of Digital Culture, in a free concert of Rolling Stones in Copacabana beach for more then 100.000 people and in a samba session at Portela – beautiful traditional place of samba. In St. James Park, in London, I saw one of the most beautiful sunset that I have ever seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I keep improving my English. I would love to tell about Brazilian culture, music, art, literature - something that I know a little bit and like so much. I'm looking forward to share and exchange good stories, views of the world, smiles and laughs.
