ABOUT ME
I'm teaching assistant at the School of Engineering, where I work in new educational experiences, related to active learning, creativity, interdisciplinary teamwork, communication, entrepreneurship. I like meeting new people (in especial from foreign countries) and exchanging about cultures.
I'm quite left-winged and I try to follow a pathway that conciliates my personal development with my social engagement.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After some trips, I've made my first and excellent CS experience in Petrópolis, where I met Márcia. I'm hoping to meet know people through this platform.
Interests
Reading is my most important need, in particular History and Literature. Dostoievsky, Shakespeare, Cortázar, Quiroga, Poe and Chéjov are among my favourite authors. Although, poetry is quite sophisticated to my mind, I like Neruda, García Lorca and Ruben Darío, for example.
My tastes in music are quite diverse, ranging from classical music (Bach and Beethoven alone cover a fourth of my last.fm profile) to balkanic music (terrafolk, Oi Va Voi, Bregovic). I listen few music in English (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones). On the other hand, I listen a lot of Brazilian music (Chico Buarque, Lenine) and French music (Les Ogres de Barback, Tryo, Yann Tiersen, Zaz).
I love learning things, from languages to new authors. Travelling is the way I've found to learn new cultures :)
