About Me

I build things for a living and for fun. Homes, furniture, ideas, and the kind of plans that usually start as a walk and turn into a good story. I spent about ten years in emergency medical services before shifting into a more hands-on, creative, outdoors-when-I-can kind of life.
Most weeks include climbing, surfing, yoga, and whatever water is nearby. Hot springs, cold ocean, or just a quiet stretch of coast where you can think for a minute. I like balance. Moving hard, slowing down, talking late, and knowing when to sit in silence.
For me, surfing is more about listening than claiming. The ocean feels like something you’re invited into, not something you own. I try to carry that idea everywhere. Travel lightly, share space, be a good guest in whatever place or moment you land in.
I don’t really use social media. I prefer real life. Shared meals, long conversations, and simple plans that somehow turn into the part you remember most.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here because I don’t love doing things the usual way. I’m not trying to turn a space into a product or a person into a transaction. I like the kind of travel and connection that still feels a little unpolished, a little human.
Couchsurfing, for me, is a way to stay in touch with my intuition instead of a formula. To meet people without a pitch, a plan, or a price tag attached. To trade stories, meals, ideas, and time, and maybe walk away seeing the world a little differently than I did the day before.
If it makes someone pause and think twice about how we move through places and through each other’s lives, even better.

Interests

Climbing in the gym, on boulders, or outside when I can. Always chasing the next line that feels good to move on.
Surfing, cold water, and slow mornings by the coast.
Ashtanga, saunas, and hot springs. Moving first, relaxing after.
Free diving when the water is right and the day feels quiet enough.
Building things, sketching ideas, cooking meals, and having conversations that wander into life, travel, and whatever people care about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Reel Rock, My Octopus Teacher
Music: Mostly 90s and early 2000s rock, plus anything that fits a long drive or a late night
Books: A Land Remembered, Brave New World, Perfume, The Elegant Universe

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped reconnect my family with relatives in a small town in Southern Italy. We traveled there together and walked the same streets my great-grandfather grew up on. It felt less like a trip and more like stepping into a story that had been waiting a long time to be continued.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can help with basic climbing, surf fundamentals, or a simple yoga flow. If you like building or DIY, I’m always happy to sketch ideas or help with a small project.
Learn: Your favorite recipe, a phrase in your language, a song you love, or the thing you get excited about when someone finally asks.
Share: Stories, meals, tools, time, and a space that feels easy to be in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Access to my local climbing gym
A session at the crag, boulders, or along the coast if timing works
Good food and conversation without pressure or awkwardness
