i am a good dude i think. i have been blessed to have been able to do a lot of traveling and meeting people. i have a lot of respect for people. you have to really be trying to get on my bad side. and... i dunno talk to me. i most likely have time for a drink or something.

i just joined up on this website. i have always just kinda met people to surf or travel with.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i'm a fan of stories. my boy andy and i hitched from coney island to the beach west of portland this last summer. we filmed it and are putting together a little film talking about why we hitch and stuff like that. its called this happened. look for it in the near future. but i digress. the guy who took us from boise to portland put us up the night we got in and we played DDR til like 3 in the morning. then next morning we got up and hitched out to the beach. these two girls picked us up and took us to the beach. then brought us back and we did some drinking. they put us up that night. then andy flew back to philly and i stayed and lived in a tent in their backyard for the rest of the summer. thats the kind of couch surfing i always have done in the past.

Interests

heavy reader and writer, play video games when i get the chance, building things is pretty big with me, remodeling too, i like good conversation and ain't afraid to talk about anything, absolutely love the outdoors (was raised on a farm in texas), animals, romance (maybe that shouldnt follow animals so closely), good food!

favorite authors: nabakov, calvino, kundera, weis and hickman, cormac mccarthy, phillip k dick, piers anthony, robert jordan, i dunno i like a lot of people but those are my favorites right now.

top five bands: radiohead, stripes, strokes, dylan, built to spill

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i didnt see it but a boulder fell on my head this year. then, covered in blood, i jumped off a waterfall and climbed 2 miles out of a gorge to get to the hospital. it was kinda awe inspiring.
