About Me
CURRENT MISSION
grow all the fruits and vegetables and feed the masses.
ABOUT ME
I managed a small organic farm in Galt, CA from March 2013 until April 2014. A big part of my job was working with WWOOF volunteers, folks who came from all over the country as well as the globe. Meeting travelers and hearing stories of their adventures made me want to get movin, too! When I left California, I spent that summer exploring the Pacific Northwest. I drove through Canada to Alaska with one of my best friends, and then landed in Washington where I spent a year living in Trout Lake. Now I'm across the Columbia River in Mosier, OR.
PHILOSOPHY
"Life is enriched by aspiration and effort, rather than by acquisition and accumulation" -Helen & Scott Nearing
The less you own the more you have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I have always been on the surfer-end of things, I make sure to help hosts out with treats and washing up.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had amazing couchsurfing experiences so far. After working all over Alaska for Americorps in 2011 I stayed for a few days with some great guys in Anchorage, AK. During the summer of 2012, I couchsurfed with a friend in Ithaca, NY. In 2013, I stayed for a weekend in Santa Cruz.
During the summer of 2014, my friend Lindsey and I made the epic road trip from Seattle, WA to Alaska. We surrendered to Alaska and her beauty and stayed with some truly delightful couchsurfing hosts along the way!

Seeing the northern lights from the top of Heney Ridge in Cordova, AK.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've got organic gardening skills to share. I know a tiny bit about bike maintenance, always eager to help. I can definitely teach you how to make sauerkraut! Or, if you prefer sweets, I can teach you how to make the best chocolate chip cookies ever.
Would love to learn more about playing ukulele, guitar, fiddle, and/or banjo. I am also trying to learn Spanish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
bad jokes

enthusiasm for lawn sports, card games, adventures, and good conversation!
