About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to travel EVERYWHERE, having the most fun and meeting the most amazing people while I am at it.

ABOUT ME

I've traveled since I was young and there's no end in sight. I love meeting people and seeking out change. I can have a good time lying in a sunny meadow with a good book, or at a raging party dancing on stage. I'm currently travelling and finding amazing opportunities on the road that allow me to keep going.

PHILOSOPHY

I've read a lot of quotes that encompass ideals and ideas I believe in, and I think this one in particular applies very well to the way I view traveling:

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime."
-Mark Twain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm connecting with other Couchsurfers in Seoul and in my travels. I love the sense of community that CS promotes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've made long term friends from the people I've met through CS. One story in particular is when we met in San Francisco, then again in Seoul and Thailand.

Interests

Depending on my mood: Country music reminds me of home, while Latin music reminds me of great times in the DR and Guatemala. I enjoy good books, especially from recommendations. I love coffee, wine, and adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently, I returned from a quick trip to Taiwan. After a few hard days of solo travel, I was rewarded to a day cruising up the magnificent Taroko Gorge on my scooter. With every turn more aweinspiring than the next, the wind in my hair, and the fog rolling through the peaks, I couldn't have been at more peace with the world and myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you what I've learned in International Business and the best ways to travel on a budget. I love getting a good deal and sharing how to do it too!
