About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to cease being a stranger in a strange land...

ABOUT ME

I don't think i might be the best to describe myself, but i'd say i'm laid back, calm, good conversator (though i'm quite bad starting conversations), and though i've been told i look gruff even when smiling, i can be quite fun once you get to know me.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to waste it being upset. Always be kind, and try to be the best person you can be. Respect others and their philosphies. Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When i arrived to the States, i surfed with several amazing people until i found a rental for myself. Now, if my roommates don't have problem with it, i'm going to (hopefully) host amazing people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted by really great people, and want to try to be an amazing host too!

Interests

Board games, sports, martial arts, brewing mead, movies and series, cooking, reading, planning and doing outdoor activities, having coffee and a nice conversation, visiting museums. I have too much interests for the few free time i have T_T

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a metalhead at heart, it flows through my veins. But i also like almost any other musical genres (reggaeton is the exception to the norm). Opera is my guilty pleasure.

As for books, i like black novel, sci-fi and some fantasy stories from time to time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time i threw over my shoulder a guy twice my weight, i realized that the real strength is in the will, not in the body.

But giving all the money i had that moment to a complete stranger during a benefic auction i was at first trying to win, so he could win an old book for his brother who had lost it years ago might be one of my most cherished memories right now.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a first dan on traditional japanese jiu jitsu, i'm always glad to teach some easy self defense tricks to those who want to learn. I am a somewhat accomplished cook, and yes, being a spaniard myself i cook a more than pasable paella. Also i am a repository of random facts of modern culture.

Hope to learn more languages, and more international dishes for my recipe collection.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My house is your house.

I've been here in Minneapolis for seven months, yet haven't had much time for tourism. So i'm not the best guide, though i know some nice spots, and i'm slowly becoming an expert on dive bars and pubs.
