About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To keep the same vibe I had travelling, back home.

ABOUT ME

I was studying Communication and working in an office in my home country, Argentina, when I realized I would be so much happier hopping around the world. So, I get a working visa for New Zealand, worked there for a few months, and then I traveled with my best friend through the South East of Asia. Not so bad, right?
After a year of discovering new places and people, I had to came back to Buenos Aires. But I just wanted to keep travelling! Although I couldn't pack my backpack just now and flee wherever the world took me, I realized the best way to keep that good feeling that travelling gave me, was being a traveller on my own city. Meeting new people (locals or tourists), going to new places (or old places, but with a different view), and overall just trying to enjoy what I have now, while I plan my future travels. Because I think that travelling when you want to just run away from home and pretend you are Alexander Supertramp is kind of "movie" cool, very poetic; but going away when you know you have a nice place to come back is way cooler.

UPDATED 2018

Now I'm happily on the road again, discovering new places and persons , and really looking forward to meet the city through their people's eyes. I love hostels and meeting travelers all over the world, but there's something magic and special about being welcome in someone's house and getting to know how they live, think and go through life.

PHILOSOPHY

While I was studying and working, I always felt there was not enough time to do everything I wanted. Have a career, a good job, social life, and travel. I always thought each of those were interfering with one another. But when I start traveling, somehow I lose that fear. Now just I think there's plenty of time to do everything you want; you just have to be willing to go for it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've recently started to go to some CS meetings, and met some awesome people there! I have shown a few people around Buenos Aires, and that's something I really enjoy, cause I can see the city I've been living my whole life with a different perspective!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While I was in Southeast Asia, me and my best friend surfed twice in Vietnam, and both experiences were awesome. We met cool people, get into local parties (we went to a 1 year old vietnamese birthday!) and overall had a blast. I also went to some weekly meetings in Wellington, where I lived for 6 months. I can't wait to have my own place and host cool people from all over the world!

Interests

Right now, travelling is my biggest interest. But I've always enjoyed movies, tv series, photography, digital media, literature, theatre, everything that evolves from an idea. I'm not a sporty guy, to say the least, but I do enjoy hanging outdoors.
Love a good meal and eating outside, trying new food and I'm always eager to stop at a bakery for something sweet. And though I'm not and everyday cook, I can pull some cool things off from time to time, mostly improvising and mixing stuff I don't really know. Trust me, has worked so many times!
