About Me

Hello there!
My name is Fede and I'm from the beautiful region of Trentino-Südtirol in Italy! I study Geography and I'm a researcher on border studies.

You can often find me hiking, climbing, making music, writing and café-hopping :)

The pictures on my profile are some of my favourite memories from past backpacking adventures. I have just come back from a year living in Taipei, from where I also took a 2-month long no-flying backpacking trip through Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I lived in France for two years which is where I discovered Couchsurfing and went on my first adventures. I think that staying with locals and connecting to the place you're visiting is the best (and cheapest) way of travelling!

/
At the moment, I am travelling less as I settled down for a few months in the city of Munich, Germany. Even though my accommodation is very frugal, I'm open to hosting travellers coming through here! (Please check the section on my home).
Last minute requests are ok but I might have to turn them down, as I have just started a Master's and I can be pretty busy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up to a hill in the town that inspired “Spirited Away” at sunset; swam with fluorescent plankton in Cambodia; I ate gyoza in the tiniest gyoza bar in Tokyo; I got a spontaneous tattoo in a small parlour in Albania; I took a 30 hour bus from Vietnam to Laos...
