I live in the canton of Obwalden, close to the mountains and the lake, but also not far from Lucerne and Zurich – perfect!

My kids are 7 and 11 years old and spend half of their time with me. So, there are quiet, child-free periods and very lively, dynamic times in my apartment. I have an apartment on the third floor and a balcony with a view of the lake and mountains – priceless.

I work in Lucerne for the cantonal pension insurance. In my free time, I love spending time with my kids when they are with me. Hiking, sports in general, swimming, meeting friends, cooking and enjoying a drink – but also reading, listening to political podcasts, or having long, philosophical conversations through the night are part of who I am :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately, my budget doesn’t allow for big travel activities at the moment, so I love the idea of bringing the world to my home.

And I would also like to use the Couchsurfing offer again myself, as I was often grateful for a place to sleep in the past – and that led to many wonderful encounters.
