My name is Federica and I'm a researcher in philosophy and media, with a particular interest in virtual reality.
I was born in Italy and I'm currently based in Milan, but I'm always in search of good excuses for travelling as much as possible :)
In my spare time, I like dancing (a lot!) and trying to improve my skills as an amateur photographer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel somewhere, I really like to get to the soul of that place and to establish valuable connections with the people living there. So, I guess no one better than Couchsurfers can help me do so!

Since at the moment I don't have a place of my own in Milan, I currently can't accept guests. However, I'll be happy to do so as soon as I can!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach Italian to non-native speakers (any level of expertise - even below zero!), and possibly to learn other languages than English in turn.
Also, I'd like to learn something from experts in various media fields: virtual reality and new digital media (mainly for work), and photography (mainly for fun).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I particularly enjoy teaching Italian :)
Needless to say, even though I appreciate food from basically any other country, I can also prepare some delicious Italian food if my hosts are happy to taste it!
Moreover, I'm willing to help around in the house-keeping and to get involved in other tasks and activities that might come up.
