I'm Federica, a 20 years old design student in Milan. I'm currently living in a not-so-big town in the north of Italy.
I always travelled with my parents since I was a little girl, but three years ago I moved to the lovely Midwest, in the USA as an Exchange Student and that decision changed my life. I love discovering new places, learn new cultures and make new friends! I'm very open minded and respectful of privacy, I don't have problem with smokers, dogs, or kids.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Because I travelled all over Italy (and the Netherlands, long story) and always my friends hosted me on their couch/beds etc. I think it's a great way to save money and meeting new people, so I hope to travel all over the world and make new friends!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I mostly listed to Italian indie music, sometimes rap or hip hop music, but also alternative rock, funk, indie rock.. My favorite bands are The National, Radiohead, Placebo, RHCP, Alt-J, Pearl Jam, R.E.M.
I usually read Design-related books, but i'm currently reading The Book od Disquiet by Ferdinando Pessoa and Van Gogh Le suicidé de la société (yes, I had to translate that) by Antonin Artaud.
I'm more of a TV series person, I like Breaking Bad, Black Mirror, Fargo, The Simpsons (super fan), Bojack Horseman, La Casa de Papel.. but I love watching good movies, especially Wes Anderson movies (I really like the perspective and the color palette in every scene).

I moved from a big city to a small town in Iowa, where public transport and other stuff didn't existed!

I can teach you Italian, and the basic "rules" to cook like a real Italian (trust me it's worth it!). I also love talking about good design, architecture (still learning about it tho), photography , modern art and of course traveling.
