Overview
About Me
I am very curious and maybe that's why I love so much to travel and meet new people. And this has helped me a lot to learn more about other cultures and try to break down stereotypes! In this moment, I am working (maybe) too much and I don't have the possibility to go abroad...so I have though that it would be nice hosting some turists here in my city! As Marcel Proust would say: the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I always repeat to my friends: "I am not a tourist...I feel more like a traveler!" Travelling is not just a way to spend holidays abroad for me, I think it is a privilege for knowing new places, new cultures, new life styles, and why not making new friends. I hopefully understood this at the age of 19 doing the European Voluntary Service in Spain and then I have never stopped travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't tell you wich is my favorite book, but I have recently discovered with great pleasure the Brazilian writer Jorge Amado. Now, I am reading "La desaparición de la Santa" and I highly recommend it as well as another book entitled "Cacao".
While talking about movies, I simply love the Almodovar's work for its originality, humor, immagination and sensitivity. I think that these features are well-expressed in "Mujeres al Borde de un Ataque de Nervios", "Todo Sobre mi madre" and "Volver".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The last amazing thing I did was leaving Europe for one month and a half in November 2016. I decided to pack few things and go alone to Brazil as a volunteer for a local NGO in order to work with children. This, I guess, was just the beginning of new travels and great adventures!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I can share my linguistic knowledge so if someone would like to speak in Italian, English, French or Spanish...I am ready for that! Even if I would like to learn more about Brazilian Portuguese and its wonderful culture!
Also I work for an artisan producer of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena which is a typical product here. So I could share my "balsamic" knowledge, and why not...organise a guided tour at my workplace!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I leave with other two girls in a flat near the city center of Modena. And we have a cosy couch to share!
