About Me

Hello dear Couchsurfing community,

my name is Federico and I'm a traveler from Italy. I was born and grew up in a little village 25 km distant from Bologna (the biggest city of Emilia Romagna) and Ferrara (one of the most beautiful Italian medieval city).

I like to consider myself charismatic, easy-going, curious, talkative, funny and full of life.

I looove traveling so much and I can say is my biggest hobby.

I also love sports and my favourite one is table tennis. I started to play table tennis since I was 9 years old, and now, after many hours of training, I became one of the 100 best table tennis athletes in Italy. My sport allowed me to travel a lot and this for me is FANTASTIC!!!

I always listen what people have to say and I make easily new friends.

''Travel as much as you can, as far as you can, as long as you can! Life is not meant to be lived in one place''

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to make new friends with people all over the world, it could help me to have a lot of interesting experiences and meet amazing people.

Travelling and having friends all over the world can make you feel like home everywhere you are.

It is absolutely fantastic the possibility fly to any country and find a couch for a few days.

Only locals will tell you the best things to do in his/her city, show you the famous landmarks from the city, direct you towards the nearest bus stand or metro station from where you can explore this new city you have just arrived in.

How can you have friends all around the world? Well, Couchsurfing is the 1st step towards that!

Music, Movies, and Books

For some, travel is a dream that comes true once a year. For me, it's my biggest hooby.

I'm always looking for travel deals and plane tickets and I try to travel at least 3 times every year.

I love to travel because it gives me a sense of adventure and freedom.

It allows me to get away from my “normal” life, experience other cultures and to get to know new places I have only seen in pictures.

My travels always changed my perspective and opened my mind and my soul, making me a better person.

Traveling allowed me to learn and to love other cultures, marvel at beautiful landscapes, and value all what I have.

When I travel, it's when I feel most alive. It is a time when I’m inspired to seek new adventures, to explore, to make new memories, to discover the simple joys of nature and everything around me and to bring a renewed interest in life.

So I can truly say that for me, TRAVELING is LIFE.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived and trained in a table tennis academy in China for a month.
