About Me
Hi!
My name is Federico Conterno. I'm a 21 year old industrial engineering student planning the second biggest adventure of his life (my biggest adventure is still the amazing relationship with Ayelen, my girlfriend). It's been my dream to travel to Europe since I was a kid, now I'm planning to make that dream a reality by November with my beloved girlfriend.
I love to talk about pretty much everything, music, books, movies, videogames, food, economy, politics, life in general.
I like to describe myself as an easygoing, simple and sensible person.
Looking forward to meeting you and learn from you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that getting to know other cultures, other religions, other ways of living life is the best way of learning and the best way to get to know all that is by traveling not as a tourist but as a couchsurfer, being in contact with people. After all, cities, countries, cultures are made by people, not my buildings nor monuments.
Interests
Music, sports, economy, technology, books, films, food and videogames.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love music, it's really a way of living life. I hear pretty much everything from "Folclore argentino" to pop. The bands I'm actually listening to are Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles, Twenty One Pilots and "El Chaqueño Palavecino". I play the guitar, but I suck at it
Books: started reading as a hobby 2 years ago with Harry Potter saga and I fell in love with books. Some of my favorite books (besides Harry Potter) are Blindness from Jose Saramago, The Alchemist from Paulo Coelho and It from Stephen King.
Movies: most of my chatting starts with movies and series topic. My favorite directors are Christopher Nolan, Alejandro González Iñárritu and David Fincher. My favorite series are Game of Thrones, Mindhunter and House of Cards.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed up to "El Valle de las Lágrimas" where an Uruguayan rugby team's plane crushed in 1972. They stayed in the mountain for 72 days until rescued. It was a really nice and shocking experience to climb up to 4400 m.a.s.l and see where those people had to survive for 72 days without gear neither being mentally prepared.
Teach, Learn, Share
My language, culture and how to play the guitar although I'm not really good at it.
I'd love to learn how to cook.
