About Me

Hi!
My name is Federico, I'm 23 yo and I came from Milan, Italy.
It's difficult to try to give an idea of yourself only writing a description, anyway, I'll try to do it! ;)

Actually, I'm studying dentistry and if everything goes as I hope I will graduate next year.

As every person I truly love traveling, if it were up to me I would never stop.
I visited different country in Europe (Barcellona, Palma di Mallorca, Lisbona, Paris, Cannes, Nice, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Bruxelles, Atene, Budapest, Saragoza).
This Year I decided to get the Italian passport and I travel through the US for fun and for study. I traveled with 4 university mates and in 2 weeks saw Los Angeles, San Francisco, some park in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and Las Vegas. It was fantastic and tiring at the same time but it was worth up to the last penny.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don’t care about the type of accommodation: for me sleeping in bed, on the sofa or in a tent it’s the same.
The type of the experience is the most important thing. You can stay in a 5 star hotel and get bored or you can stay in tiny house and sleep on the floor and meeting people that you will never forgot.
The people and the experience you made give you a completely difference perception of the city you are visiting.

Moreover I think that be guest of local gives you a different point of view of the city.
Usually a local knows places not listed on guides, different than tourist attractions.
Places you probably wouldn't see if you didn't go around the city with a local

When I travel meet new people, taste some typical food and knowing new culture change your travel experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

after my holiday in US, I had only a little money left but I wanted to travel anyway.
So I decided to try workaway, a platform that offers volunteer work in exchange for accommodation.
I sent a huge amount of message because it was a last-minute request (2 weeks in advance). A lot of host answered me and I chose a surf hostel in Ireland.
I stayed there for two weeks and it was one of my best holidays.
I learn to surf going into the sea every day, I made camping for the first time, I hitchhiking for 150km, during a mid-night swim a saw bioluminescence phenomena and I met people I will never forget

It was amazing!

if you will to host me and you will want to know more I will be happy to tell you this story and many others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could cook some typical Italian food, and if my host wants I could teach him how to cook it.
One plate could be pasta: it's easy, cheap and you need a few ingredients.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, United States
