Easy going and open minded. I like traveling with a bit of spontaneity — sometimes with plans, sometimes just following the moment. I don't mind traveling alone because I usually end up meeting great people along the way. I’ve made friends in many corners of the world and I’m always open to new ones and new experiences.
I'm from a small town in the interior of Argentina, founded by Swiss and German immigrants who arrived there a few generations ago. I grew up in a middle-class family, studied at a public university, and worked for many years in the agricultural industry.
Traveling has always been part of my life. I explored a lot of Argentina and parts of Latin America, and in the last years I’ve been living abroad, combining casual jobs with long backpacking trips whenever I can. These days I try to enjoy the present and keep life simple.
Right now I’m exploring the Philippines, discovering islands, small towns and the incredible nature of this country.
As for hobbies, I love tennis and almost any racquet sport. Over the past years I’ve done quite a bit of scuba diving and I’m a beginner surfer (I spent about 7 months living by the ocean in Western Australia). I’ve also tried free diving, rock climbing, hiking, trekking, some yoga and meditation. Basically anything outdoors and connected with nature makes me happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, especially people you would not normally meet in your day-to-day life.
Also, i like to meet the locals when i'm travelling, visiting a city and country is a fun and important thing to do. But when you get to meet and stay with a local, it becomes a true cultural experience!
