About Me

I'm Federico, an International Trade graduate from Argentina, a curious traveler and an adventurer at heart. Like most Argentinians, I’m passionate about football — not just the sport itself, but everything that surrounds it: the stories, the culture, the community.

I travel not just to see places, but to understand them. I love meeting people, listening to their experiences, and getting a glimpse into daily life in different parts of the world. I believe that the best way to learn is through connection — real, human interaction.

I enjoy reading, walking with no set direction, and discovering local traditions, food, and music wherever I go. I'm open-minded, respectful, and always try to leave a positive footprint behind me.

To me, Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to share, learn, and create amazing moments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I like meeting real people, not just seeing places.
I travel to learn, share, and live things I’d never find in a guidebook.
I’d rather sleep on a couch with good conversation than be alone in a hotel. Simple as that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music, Movies, and Books

🎵 Music:
I’m a big fan of both international and Argentine rock. I love the sounds of the ‘70s and ‘80s — Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and many more. From Argentina, I admire bands like Los Redondos and legends like Charly García. Music for me is more than background — it’s part of the journey.

🎬 Movies:
I enjoy many genres, but if I had to pick one film that truly moved me, it would be La Vita è Bella. I’m not really into TV lately — I prefer stories that leave something to reflect on.

📚 Books:
I’m passionate about Latin American literature. Writers like Eduardo Galeano and Gabriel García Márquez have shaped the way I see the world. I also enjoy suspense novels from time to time — I love stories that keep me turning the pages and spark the imagination.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It’s hard to choose just one, but some of the most unforgettable things I’ve experienced during my travels include:

Visiting Quechua, Aymara, and Maya Indigenous communities across Latin America and learning from their wisdom and ways of life.
Crossing the Sahara Desert on top of the Iron Ore Train in Mauritania — a surreal and brutal adventure through endless sand.
Walking the Camino de Santiago — both the Northern and Primitivo routes —.
Following the Che Guevara Route through Bolivia, retracing history off the beaten path.
Witnessing a rare and powerful desert flood in the Moroccan Sahara.
Attending both a wedding and a funeral from the Batak culture in Indonesia — all in the same day, a raw and moving glimpse into the cycle of life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m all about teaching the real deal: latinoamericano culture, southern BBQs, mate vibes, and raw Latin American life. No sugarcoating.
I want to dive deep into other cultures, languages, and wild alternative lifestyles.
Sharing time, stories, and knowledge isn’t just something I do — it’s how I live. Constant learning, constant growth. No BS.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good energy, real conversation, and help with whatever’s needed — from cooking to cleaning.
I can share mate, cook southern food, tell travel stories, and most of all, I bring full curiosity and an open mind.
I’m always ready to learn, to listen, and to share. I don’t take your space for granted.
