About Me

Hi! I'm Federico, 46 years old, and I'm a full time traveller since 2017.
I consider myself polite, open minded, curious, passion driven.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not rich, but I'm not here because I just need a "bed for free" 😊
I'm interested in knowing and understanding more deeply every place I'm going to visit and meeting interesting people. I believe that spending a few days with the locals is the best way.

Interests

I've left my job to start travelling around the world at the beginning of 2017, so we can say that my first passion is travelling 🙂

Great love for music since when I was a child, and I was playing bass in a band before leaving Italy.

Love cooking, eating, drinking well and learning about other culinary traditions.
I prefer nature rather than cities, but a city lived with a native or an expat can be a great experience.

I have a YouTube channel (Zero Highways) where I share my adventures on the bike and the beauty of the places I travel to.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to quite all genres, from blues to heavy metal, from classic to folk. No modern latino-american at all, sorry...

Not great lover of movies (mostly because I don't like much spending time in front of a TV), but i appreciate almost any movie from Tarantino, thrillers and sci-fi, and good comedies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept a week in the desert.
Crossed 3 times a Tibetan bridge on my bike.
Crossed 2/3 of Himalaya on my bike.
Slept on the roof of a police station in Pakistan.
Slept 2 night with lions in front of my tent in Tanzania.
Flown alone on a glider.
Jumped from a plane with a parachute.
Survived to all my ex girlfriends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach italian cooking, something about camping and wild life, and quite everything you might want to know about overlanding.
And for sure something else but now I don't remember 😁
Always ready to learn something new

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer positivity, laughs, many many stories, an help in house, and one of the best pasta outside of Italy 🥰
