Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new and ready to experience couchsurfing at the best of my possibilities!
Interests
I love playing the piano, the accordion and singing. I really like writing too, mostly poems, but probably I'm not that good a poet after all. That doesn't prevent me from enjoying it, thought :) I'm an engineering student , but I really love the arts in all their forms, so it's probaly this yin and yang of love for the irrational and need for the rational that keeps me always pushing toward new goals.
If you want to check out some of my music, here's my take on "S'i fossi foco", a tuscan medieval sonnet by Cecco Angiolieri (music by Fabrizio De André)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like every Charlie Chaplin's films, they're so poetical. Old movies fascinate me, especially westerns.
Classical music (especially Tchaikovsky Brahms and Chopin). Progressive rock (I love it!), hard rock...
Some books I'll never forget: "Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid ", "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance", "On the road","la fine è il mio inizio"
