ABOUT ME

Hi folks! My name's Federico and I'm 22. I love travelling using every kind of means of transport. I love writing, do some sport, cooking, learning new things and learn new languages. I'm curious about life and cultures, sociable, life-addicted and open-minded!

I will graduate in Political Science in april 2017, but since my exams are over and my final project is done, I took a sabatic year to travel the world. First stop: Iran! Why? Because I'm studying farsi since september (Salam be hame, esm-e man Federico, man yek danesju-y italiayayi am va in sešambe man be Iran miram. Man yek yek farsi harf mizadam :D ) and I want to practice and learn more during my month on persian soil! I love writing, photography (portraits and stree life, but the closer to the sobject the best), history, zereshk polo and ghormeh sabzi (if you don't what they are, check them out on Google Images).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I surfed six times and hosted four times: a french couple that were involved in world round trip by bike, another french couple that were walking from Tallin to Lisbon, a crazy lovely canadian girl for a full week and one girl from Argentina on her way from Rome to Barcelona by bike.

In my free time I do everything that my mind consider interesting. From cook to read and write, from watching old films to watch strange documentaries on National Geographic!

1245 km by bike: from Italy to Istanbul.
4040 km hitchhiking: from Porto (Portugal) to my hometown in Italy.
Countless other small trips which don't worth to be mentioned, or maybe yes.
