About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet travelers, hear their stories, be inspired by them

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going guy and a joker most of the time, nothing's better than a good laugh! I have a positive attitude towards life and I really enjoy people's company.

I like adventure and I spent the most amazing days hitchhiking. You can be sure the craziest things will happen to you and you'll hear stories that will move you. I love to see how many people wishing to help there are out there and how it's easy to create a spiritual connection during a twenty minute car ride or an evening together.

Currently living and working in Bologna.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the freedom of the open road.
I believe in the kindness of strangers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Living in a small city surfers are a rare thing but I fortunately had the opportunity to host a young german couple, my first couchsurfing experience. It was great and if you're looking for a host in Bologna and you can't find it, crashing on my couch could be a possibility, despite being small, Carpi has one of the largest square in Italy, then we could go check together Bologna.

Interests

I have always liked nature in its manifestations, walking in stormy weather and discovering colors and smells of every season. I enjoy being out in the open air exploring places, camping and wandering aimlessly.

However, everything is about people. I usually travel alone because I like it, that's for sure, but I know that I'm going to meet people. That's what I want to happen. What I remember the most of the country I visited is faces and names, the laughs, and the time spent together.

Stories of hobos and tramps having nothing and being okay with it, stories of people who choose the road as their home always impress me and I really like to hear and read about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I started hitchhiking in Iceland it was me and my backpack. After a while we were two. Then four. I had a blast with these guys and it felt like traveling with a bunch of old pals. The last night together we toasted to the encounters that the road has to offer.
