About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To open mind through travelling and communicating
ABOUT ME
Well, it's not so easy to talk about yourself, yeah!?
So, whats about me... I graduated Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. Now I'm working in a small engineering company as a project developer. Though it's not so interesting to talk about work.
Travelling - is by far more interesting topic! :-)
Recently I undertook adventurous journey to 3 countries at 1 time - UAE (Dubai), Japan (at volunteering project) and South Korea. That was the first time I travelled by myself and 1 time in Asia as well. I absolutely loved that journey. I gained so much of different experience.
The main plot of that journey was a volunteering project in Japan. It was so great and so interesting, that I just had no words to describe it.
If year ago someone told me that I'll be going to Japan, to work in some abandoned village on a farms, I would never belive that! If someone told me that I'll be standing in the center of Seoul in S. Korea giving "Free Hugs" I would never belive that too! No way!!!
But it's true! And it was an amazing time of my life!
One thing I know for sure - that was a turning point in my life, the time when I opened my mind to the world. And now I'm constantly trying to be even more open-minded and help people near me to open their minds too. 'Cos I believe it's the only way for people of our modern world to stop stupid hostility and wars, to unite and to start solving more global problems of the world together!
PHILOSOPHY
Discover the world. Open your mind. Gain experience. Then share it with others!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Participating in different event in my city; helping foreigners to taste and to understand Moscow and Russia; destroying stereotypes; travelling and learn about the world and cultures.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Each time that I surfed a couch or just meet/participat in various events it was always great!!! I met friendly, clever and open-minded people, and participated in different activities that made my life more interesting!
Interests
Travelling, reading , listening to music, watching movies. Of sports I like volleyball, small tennis (also I love big tennis, but I've played it just 5 times in my life, but I really liked it). At winter holidays I love going to mountains and do snowboarding there!
But travelling is my passion!
Also there are much interests! I like communicating with people, learning foreign languages, making cultural exchange. I'm very interested in learning of different cultures and their history and dive in it, to feel it in full measure!
Also I love such things as different mysteries of ancient civilization, interesting scientific facts, new gadgets and other interesting stuff. I love astronomy and can talk about the Universe, space and stars very-very long :)
Gosh! I forget one of my main interest - taking photos! I love it, and no matter which technique to use: old or new ones, amateur or professional, digital or analog. It's always interesting!
I'm not sure that it's all my interest, but I'd better stop now :)
