About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to be the best possible version of myself everyday again.

ABOUT ME

All my friends started to buy houses and babies, I bought a tent and took off. For a year and a half I was travelling in Latin America (from Mexico to Argentina). I always had the feeling that I was born at the wrong side of the world, so in may 2011 I swapped Belgium for Ecuador and now I am living and working in a small village high in the Andean altiplanos. And I absolutely love it! I live and work with the most amazing people ever, which inspire me everyday to make the best of everything!
Piel gringa pero corazon latino.

PHILOSOPHY

aunque a veces duela tanto

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am living and working in a community project (educational centre and hostal) in Guamote. But as I didn´t get to know that much of Ecuador on my last trip, I defenitely want to see some more of the country. It is also very cold in Guamote, so I love to go to warmer places to heat up, once in a while.

Interests

Travelling!!! Learning to know new cultures, new people,...
I also love everything that has something to do with nature/animals: hiking, horsebackriding,...
And I absolutely love dancing!
I spend a lot of time working but I have the best job in the world so I don´t mind.
And I have the 3 most amazing dogs which fill my life with despair (they are very independent), frustration (they consider themselves the best interior designers and lanscapers ever) but most of all complete joy and happiness!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled through and lived in Latin America for a total of 6 years now and the list of amazing things I have done and seen is endless. This is an amzing part of the world. I love its nature, its culture, its food, its people... I guess I was born on the wrong side of the planet...

Teach, Learn, Share

I was incredibly lucky in my life. I can´t even start to list the good things that happened to me. So I feel it as my obligation to share some of that fortune with people that where less lucky. They call me crazy (

What I Can Share with Hosts

Smiles, laughter, crazy stories, bottles of rum,.... and maybe some of that fortune...
