About Me
Hi !! Thanks for reading my presentation !
I'm François. I live in France.
I'm an easygoing guy, eager to try new things.
I'm curious about my world, and the many cultures.
I wish to travel and make some great memories with the local people.
I wish i can meet awsome people !
And I hope people will like our encounter as well !! ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live in France, but i want to travel to different places in the world. Why ? Because we all live on the same planet ! We have become so close with planes, and there are so much interesting people and places, outside my country !
When i first made a long trip (in N-Zealand), I've been able to share some great time with people i just met, and i was really surprised at how it's was so easy !!
It was a great experience. I was really pleased to get to know better people that were some total stranger just a moment ago. Maybe there was some connection, or maybe it's just human nature ?
Surfing on someone's couch seems like a fun way to meet more people i don't know yet You 'crash' into someone else's home as if you were a friend that will stay for the night (or more ! ). I'ts like you know each other already ! Then it will be easier to exchange with the hosts, like talking, maybe cooking, doing some activities, or visiting the area.
So i hope i can meet funny and nice people from abroad !
Interests
I'm into different type of activities (sport, reading, going out, sight seeing, ...), but not on a regular basis ! I'm also someone that will be into something for a moment, then change to something else that's totally different. I like trying new things. I also like things that give emotions like music, visual art, natural events (the wind, the rain, the storms...), landscapes, the smells of nature... I really like camping, and barbecue too ! I also like going out, having some food in the streets, wandering around, and dancing also ! (-not sure if i'm any good though ^^ )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trying to walk on a thin line (slackline) accross a deep gap, while not really prepared... I fell hard, while being tied with a security leash, and got wounded in my backbone from the shock. Thinking back at it, i realize i was really naive to think i'd be able to cross the gap, with my success rate at ground level not exceeding 70% and more important the height parameter that can't be forgotten while in the air... Well that makes me think i may not be an adult yet ! ^^
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd find it funny to teach my hosts about French words or phrases, since i like it when French is spoken with a foreign accent !
