About Me
ABOUT ME
This profile is for two people: Nathan and Fei.
Nathan was born and raised in U.S. and is currently studying about wine and hospitality. Generally a wine and food geek. Can be a music/fantasy/D&D/whatever else geek depending on the hour. Beginning to love language and travel too!
Fei was born in China and came to U.S. to be a high school exchange student. She stayed and is now working in Ohio. She enjoys good music and art, likes reading children's books, and is picking up a new musical instrument. Traveling is always fun and something she enjoys planning and experiencing. Lots of places on the list, lots of surprise to uncover =)
PHILOSOPHY
One major political/economic view: buy local. Support local artisans, or simply socially responsible businesses. We would love to see more pride in craftsmanship and small businesses, so we always show our local shops and cheese makers love!
Also, only good can come from travel and learning.

If you are coming to the Cleveland area, we will be happy to host you =)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Hayao Miyazaki... nough' said. Also The Grand Budapest Hotel and other quirky movies like that.
Music: Nathan Likes Bach, Fei likes Chopin (and a lot of other composers). We both like Jazz music a lot. But we do listen to lots of different music, it depends on the mood and the time
Books: The list is too long! Bill Bryson, Thomas Harris, Jim Butcher and many more authors, fantasy to non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Zurich at 5am. I had a long layover at Zurich airport in summer 2011 and got to see how the city woke up in the morning. It was amazing and powerful. My dad has been to Zurich and he said it's too busy. I guess he has to see the city not just in business hours but also right before it wakes up.
Prague, early in the morning (seems like I really like it when big busy cities are super quiet haha). It was very cool to see Prague at 6am because it is always super busy (ppl have been to prague will know what I am talking about). Having the entire Charlies Bridge just by yourself is a very weird feeling, it is like you own the world :O I love Prague and am very sure that I will come back many many times
Waking up to a gorgeous snow fall in a small historical town (Nanxun/南浔)leaving the 300yr old house to eat the most amazing bowl of noodles I have or probably will ever have.
Opening a bottle 1981 Chateau Petrus for a guest and sharing a glass with him.
Waiting on my first table in Chinese
Visiting a coffee farm in the mountains of Puerto Rico
