About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get out and enjoy good places with good people and good beer.

ABOUT ME

Moved to Columbus in the last year for a job (I work at a museum in town). Getting to know the city and some good places for a beer.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people well and they'll do the same for you. They usually don't though, so keep that in mind, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First CS experience was in Antwerp with the incomparable Erik. Even though I spell my name with a "C," he was gracious enough to put me up for a few nights, lend me a bike, and show me some of Antwerp's hidden gems (home stadium of the Royal Antwerp Eagles Baseball Team, for example).

Next, I spent some time with Tim in Amsterdam. He was busy with studies, but still found time to take me to some cool spots in the city and meet some of his friends (also CSers). When he wasn't around, he was nice enough to let me use a rail pass to get from his place to the city.

That's about it for my CS experience, but even after only two stints of surfing, I realized that you can trust people. Don't pay attention to the lousy, fear-mongering garbage you see and hear on the news/TV/your life--get out there and talk to your fellow people. They're actually pretty cool.
