I'd love to meet locals, emerge into the culture and someone that can show me the best parts of the city. or their favorite parts. Also, I suck at directions (even with google maps ahaha). That said, I'd prefer a more localize experience versus touristy and socializing and meeting new people is one of my favorite experiences while traveling.
