ABOUT ME

Hi everybody my name is Felix Vemmer and I am currently studying international Political Economy in the US. I love travelling and living abroad and exploring new cultures and countries. This all started out with me attending the Li Po Chun United World College in Hong Kong. I was selected by the German Committee and lived for two years with people from over 80 countries of the world in the same boarding school. This is why I love to learn more about languages and cultures from different people. At the end of my graduation I backpacked with a friend through South East Asia which was so far my best travel experience.

Friends say that I am a friendly, extroverted and open person that laughs a lot and is easy to talk to.

PHILOSOPHY

I think John Lemon summarized pretty well my personal philosophy - being happy:

"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down happy€™. They told me I didn'€™t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn'€™t understand life.

- overlooking Dubai from the Burj Khalifa (Dubai, UAE)
- walking on the Great Wall (Beijing, China)
- living in an elephant village and washing elephant babies in a river (Cheng Mai, Thailand)
- experiencing Tiananmen Square and the forbidden city (Beijing, China)
- enjoying the amazing atmosphere of Victoria Harbor at night (Hong Kong, China)
- overlooking Hong Kong from the peak (Hong Kong, China)
- eating bacon donuts and seeing Powell's City of Books in Portland (Oregon, USA)

I can teach both German and English as well as some piano. I am also pretty good with computers (Macintosh and Windows) so if there are any technical difficulties I would be more than happy to help out. Furthermore I learned in College how to use Excel, Access, Power Point and Word which means I can also teach you some of that.

Lastly I can tell you about a lot of cool places I traveld to and what to do there. :)
