About Me

I am fluent in sarcasm, am easily amazed, love Disney movies, and i think cheesecake is worth living for. I'm a Gemini, I don't obsess over it but I think it's cool.

I come from Canada, but have a varied heritage, as many Canadians do. Thanks to this, I have always been open to new perspectives and ideas, always curious and never judging. I love getting lost in discussion, and philosophical debate, not in a conceited annoying way, merely because, why not? All we know is that we don't know.

I went to teacher's college in Toronto and currently teach high school English in Montpellier, France. During breaks I travel as much as possible, and my absolute favourite part is all the interesting people I meet along the way :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's all good and well to visit places and look at stuff and say "I've been there" but I want to be able to look back and have more than stamps in my passport or pins on a map. I seek an authentic experience filled with beautiful memories in which I remember friendly people who shared their lives with me, even if just for a moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got my tonsils out as an adult and lived to tell the tale :o that is most definitely an accomplishment.

Beyond that, jumping from the top of my uncles boat in the middle of the ocean off the coast of Italy was remarkable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied language acquisition and religious studies (with a secular approach, please note: I AM NOT a zealot of any kind, way too lazy for that :p). So if you are interested in discussing that I'm super down, as long as it's in a nice way! Beyond those subjects of course there is a lot more to me, so let's figure it out as we go along :)

My current room mate is not comfortable with the concept of Couchsurfing, so unfortunately I cannot accept guests here at the moment. I will see where my next move takes me, and hopefully it will be to a more accommodating place.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a chill person, very open-minded, love to share stories and have fun! I can promise not to be boring or awkward, or if I am it will at least probably be funny. I can share travel experience, staying-at-home-instead-of-traveling experience :p, hopes & dreams (both real and surreal), crazy ideas (love games of "Would you rather..?"), etc.
