ABOUT ME

I am a lot of fun to be with, self confident, and outgoing. Now that my children are grown, I want to travel as often as I can and see the world. I love to meet new people and hope couchsurfing helps me do that!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a spare bedroom here in Salalah with one twin bed. Most are welcome, bearing in mind you are in an Islamic country in an Arabic neighborhood, not at a resort. We are a married couple, no children. My husband is Tunisian and I am American. It is important to note he is a smoker. He is pretty good about smoking in the kitchen, but it is there.There is a nicely set up rooftop the neighbors made if you want to smoke hookah. Drinking is at the hotels or at the Oasis club. You can't walk into a store and buy beer because they don't sell it here in stores! Sometimes we have it and sometimes we don't. What else. Ah...there is no wifi at our flat. I regret that single men can't stay...women or small families only.
NOTE: We are not accepting guests from June through August due to our own travel plans.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My father has always been a welcoming soul, and we met people from all over the world as we were growing up...other anthropologists and such.

兴趣

I read, work, cook, clean, and talk with my friends. It's more interesting than it sounds...I teach chubby yoga once a week.

I'll read most anything...but I really like mystery novels and the occasional zombie foolishness. But heck, I'll read a book about beekeeping if it's kicking around.
