Overview
About Me
Hey! I'm Felicity. My appetite for travel is much larger than my budget will allow so I'm keen to try this couch surfing thing out.
I guess all you need to know about me is that I'm an energetic, approachable person who is quite easy to talk to. I'm addicted to photography and fascinated by science and history.
When I travel, I tend to do hostels because the whole point of travel for me is to meet people from all over the world, with a totally different outlook on life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly, I just booked a spur-of-the-moment trip to Europe and I don't think I have enough money to pay for accommodation!
But I'd also quite like to have international guests stay at my house. It's like travelling from my armchair! I'm not sure I can offer a place yet as our apartment is really small - but I'm working on it.
Interests
I have very broad interests. One day I'll be snapping photos of waterfalls or castles and the next I'll be rock climbing or reading a book about Indian history and drinking tea. I like adventures. I like people that want to try new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anything good really. I have a soft spot for jazz, classical and musical theatre. And Taylor Swift.
Movies: Whatever is on Netflix
Books: Popular science books, Penguin classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in the Northern Territory during my honours year and studied cane toads and native frogs. It was the most incredible experience of my life! The field laboratory was in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by snakes and crocodiles and frogs. Check out my expereince here: gumbootbiology.tumblr.com
