Mi nombre es Felipe Blaset Valenzuela. Soy un estudiante de Ingeniería Civil Industrial de la Universidad de Chile (Santiago, Chile).

Crecí en una ciudad ubicada 3 horas al sur de Santiago, Talca. Pequeñita, tranquila, ideal para formar familia. Me fui a Santiago porque tiene mejores oportunidades tanto educacional como laboralmente, además de entregar mejores perspectivas respecto al resto del mundo.

Me gusta el fútbol, el cine, y conversar con la gente. Me gusta la música, aunque mis gustos son tan variados que creo que más que un grupo o cantante, me gustan las canciones. Me gustan los juegos de palabras y los chistes fomes.

Soy algo obstinado y lo que más valoro en las personas son la lealtad y la pasión. No tengo miedo a equivocarme, aunque a veces quede en ridículo, pues creo que a partir de los errores es cuando más se aprende. Me gustan las personas que me hacen pensar, de las que puedo aprender y las que logran hacerme cambiar de opinión.

My name is Felipe Blaset Valenzuela. I´m an industrial engineering student at Universidad de Chile (Santiago, Chile).

I grew up in a city three hours south of Santiago. It´s name´s Talca. Small, quiet, a perfect place to build a beautiful family. I left it because Santiago has better work-study opportunities and it´s closer to the rest of the world.

I enjoy seeing footbal, movies and talking with people. I like the music, altough my tastes are varies, so I think that I prefer individual songs rather than a particular group or singer. I like the word´s games and boring jokes (so boring that make me laugh).

I´m a stubborn person and I appreciate very much loyal and people who love what they do. I don´t feel afraid of make mistakes, altough that makes me seem ridiculous, because I think that you learn more when you fail. I like people who makes me think, who teaches me something and can make me change my mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me he inscrito en esta red porque estuve un semestre estudiando en España, en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, el año 2015, por lo que couchsurfing me pareció una tremenda alternativa para crear amistades, obtener datos acerca de los lugares que quiero visitar y recibir ideas y recomendaciones que me ayuden a aprovechar este viaje.

Ahora estoy interesado en practicar mi inglés y ayudar a otros viajeros a conocer Santiago.

I´ve logged on this social network because I was studying for a semester in Spain, at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, in 2015, and I thought that couchsurfing would be a great opportunity for make friends, receive tips about the places that I´d like to visit and recomendations that help me to make of this an unforgettable experience.

Now, I'm interesting to practice my English and help people to meet Santiago of Chile.

Interests

Me gusta mucho ver fútbol, aunque jugando no soy muy bueno, pero soy bastante entusiasta. Mi equipo favorito es Universidad de Chile (mismo nombre que mi universidad, porque antes de la década de los 80 era parte de esta institución), conocido popularmente como "La U". Sueño además con ver un partido de Manchester United en Old Trafford. Tras mi estadía en Madrid he tenido un acercamiento al Atlético de Madrid.

Me gusta mucho conversar con la gente, compartir historias y conocer lugares. Mantenerme informado lo que más puedo, por lo que soy mucho de leer diarios, no así con los libros, que aunque me gustan tiendo a dejarlos a medio terminar. Últimamente comencé a leer algunos cómics y mantengo una colección pequeña.

Me gustan los animales, en especial los perros. Soy el humano de una traviesa labradora llamada Almendra (de quien dudamos que sea labradora y empezamos a pensar que es más una golden retriever: un misterio que no nos interesa resolver)

I like football (a lot), although I´m not really well playing, but I´m pretty enthusiastic. My favorite team is Universidad de Chile (same same that my University, because before the 80´s it was part of the this institution), popularly called "La U". Beside I dream with watch a match of Manchester United in Old Trafford. Meanwhile I´m living in Madrid I´m creating a connection with Atletico de Madrid.

I really enjoy having a nice conversationl, a lot. Sharing stories and meet new places. I like to keep informed, and for that I'm always lestening news on TV and Radio. Also, I like to read books and comics.

I like animals, specially dos. I'm the human of two playful dog (Almendra and Canela), but they live in Talca in my parent's house.

No me considero lo suficientemente bueno en algo como para poder enseñar, aunque me gusta mucho ayudar a las personas.
