About Me

Hello, my name is Felipe and I’m a Brazilian from the huge São Paulo. I study theater and I love paintings, drawing, sculpture, and Arts in general. I am crazy for History of Art and discovering it by Architecture and visited places.
Now I'm in an exchange in Paris and living in Saint-Denis as I study Theater at the University Paris 8. Soon I'll come back to São Paulo and until that I'm really into knowing more people from different countries during the trips abroad.

I'm a talkative person but also calm, adapting well to the circumstances. I like cozy places and kind people to chill out and talk or walk by, but also party nights with loud music sometimes too. The mood guides.

Well, one thing I also like is having a great talk about Politics, Culture, Science and Conspiracy Theories (Lol), figuring out what makes me closer and further to the others is always so fulfilling. If it’s possible with a good cold beer or a glass of wine, sharing food and stories with people. I love cooking by the way and I love the way we can unit ourselves over the table 🤤

I'm an open-minded guy and for me, this is a precondition for getting in touch with people, if you have prejudices against any minority please don't send me any request and take me out of your list on this social platform.

Music, Movies, and Books

~MUSIC
I really love Amy Winehouse and her soul lyrics, I also love Brazilian popular music, from Samba to Axé and Pagode. Actually I’m eclectic and like various different styles, going from Nina Simone to Stronae, Michel Jackson to Caetano Veloso, Black Eyed Peas to Marisa Monte, Queen to Adele.

I invite you to listen to my playlist on Spotify, there are lots of different stuff, hope you enjoy some songs and discover nice new rhythms and voices! :)

~SOME BOOKS:
There are lots of, despite reading many books per year I really wanted to read more, therefore I'm accepting suggestions for my list.

This a little list of the books I read that came to my mind:
The Casual Vacancy (Jk Rowling)
Capitães da Areia [Captains of the Sands] (Jorge Amado)
L’étranger (Albert Camus)
Le petit prince (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry)
The Order of the Phoenix (JK Rowling),
Vidas Secas [Barren Lives] (Graciliano Ramos)

~MOVIES:
I am awful with movies names, seriously...
Some names that I could remember:
Bacurau
The Wife
Persona
The Favorite
Bastards Inglorious

Nowadays I'm in love with British cinema and acting, especially with the outstanding Olivia Colman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first I remembered, the most recent too, is the one I almost got soaked in the Senne river. It’s stream was strong and the level of the water started to increase as we were passing by under a bridge. We could have come back to where we came from but yolo... I was with my friends from de university’s residence and we were having fun of the situation as we were getting isolated by the water that surrounded us. To scape from getting wet we had to cross a whole dock of waves until achieving the stars and get rid of that. We laughed a lot after the few minutes of panic trying to step in the highest stones of the dock's pavement. One funny memory I had with them, for sure.
