About Me

An adventurous person who loves to explore the world, especially raw and untouched nature. A simple guy that doesn't require much to be happy and doesn't get stressed easily. An independent person that wants to be responsible for his decisions and self-reliant in his accomplishments.
I am a biology student from Brazil doing a semester abroad in Australia, enjoying the opportunity to discover this remote area of the world (Southeast Asia and Oceania). Flights from Brazil to here are expensive, so I am using Australia as a base camp.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but I also have a low budget to do so. I expect to pay my accommodation with friendship and help out the host with whatever I can. At the moment I can't accept any guests as I am renting a room in Australia.

Interests

Explore nature is the priority. I love to appreciate landscapes and to identify plants haha. My goal in life is to own a small tract of land in a remote area in my home country, than build an off grid home with my own hands, living with the land and not off the land. But before settle in I want to discover planet Earth and its inumerous cultures and landscapes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Classic rock is my favourite, but I like almost all subgenres of rock. My favourite band is probably Led Zeppelin. Or Jimi Hendrix. Or The Who... forget it haha. One of my favourite songs is Ramble On, by Led Zeppelin. One thing I really love is to discover underground artists and underrated albums.
I enjoy most of Scorsese movies, especially Taxi Driver and Goodfellas.
Adventure books are my favourite. I started to write travel journals in my trip to Indonesia and plan on keep doing it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing trek in Mount Rinjani, Indonesia. It was the most challenging thing I have ever done, and the gorgeous landscape in the end totally worth it. The feeling of accomplishment was awesome and I learned my limits in this trip.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, Indonesia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
