ABOUT ME

I am an autodidact. From time to time I get obsessed about something new and spend a lot of time on it. I often talk a lot about the things I like (perhaps too much). I am definitely autotelic!

I have a hard time when I am forced to live under nonsensical rules. For that reason, some people say I am a rebel.

I love technology. I don't really care much about gadgets. If I can't hack it, If I can't tinker with it, then it is not interesting to me.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to live experiences that enable me to practice my creativity. That includes meeting creative people, brainstorming ideas, developing new projects, etc..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am still learning about it. I have met some guests that were hosted at the house of a close friend. And I've been hosted a few times by couchsurfers but these "couches" were not setup directly through the website because I came to know these people in other contexts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through CouchSurfing.org I have initially met some of the guests of my closest friend at his house in São Paulo, Brazil.

And then I couchsurfed with some people when I traveled to US in 2010 March & September 2010 and to Europe in 2010 June & November.

I am also a lot active in and interested in talking about the free software movement.

I can also teach you a lot about several issues of the current copyright system, which I think should be radically different from what it is nowadays.
