ABOUT ME

Heey!! my name is Felipe, I'm 24 yeras old. I'm from Santiago, Chile. I joined this site cause I'm very sociable and find really interesting to get along with people from other cultures.
I'm a happy person, I enjoy life and having a good time. I'm really open minded and have a great sense of humor and I also enjoy talking with happy people with sense of humor ;)
I like to party, dance and gather with friends. Sometimes I prefer to stay at home quietly reading, playing guitar watching tv or something else.
I study medicine and I hope to become a doctor someday, do some volunteering with medic without borders or anything similar. I think is the best payment for the soul.
I like to play the guitar. I play in a band and i love music, reading, and art in general.
I work part-time as DJ and waiter. (yeah I manage to have some spare time haha)
During my free time (the little rest of it) I like to play basketball, go to the gym or running. I love sports. I think playing a sport also teach you lessons about life.

- I like going to the cinema (especially if the movie deserves it)
- I LOVE pizza (and italian food in general)
- I love skittles
- I'd marry a pizza with skittles. (nah, not really)
- I don't like chocolate ice cream
- I love the view from the top of big mountains
- My favourite colour is blue
- I love nature
- I like to cook
- I want to have a big black horse with long hair someday
- I prefer dogs (specially big fluffy ones)
- I appreciate random anonymous charity acts and have big respect for people who try everyday to make this world a better place.
- I don't have a specific religion
- We do have cars, internet and people actually live in houses here in Chile.
- I like to hear the silence sometimes (actually I'm sure it has a musical note)
- I have never had a real bubble bath (when I was a kid I wasted tons of shampoo pretending that it would do it)
- I'm Batman
- I have an earring in my left ear
- I studied in a catholic school until 12 years old and they wanted to make me a priest but failed big time.
- I have swimmed naked in the ocean (at night but with beautiful stars)
- I like camping
- I prefer outgoing adventurous partner girls over princesses
- I want to try bungee-jumping and sky diving
- I was scared of teddy bears when I was a kid (too much tv probably)
- I think we are not alone in the universe
- I have 6 guitars (2 acoustic, 4 electric). They don't have names but some people have been jealous of them ...
- I may bite
- I pick up a dictionary and try to learn a random word sometimes
- I would like to enter to a supermarket ask to the cashier what year it is and scream my head off: "IT WORKED, IT WORKED !!" and run away..
- Enter inside an elevator full of people and say: "You may ask yourselves why I gather you all in here"..
- Attend to a huge massive electronic party such as tomorrowland
- Take a taxi and say "follow that car"
- Destroy a guitar on stage
- Spend new year in an exotic place
- To meet a vampire (I'm not obsessed with vampires though, neither believe they could exist..but if meet one it would be really cool. Specially a girl)
- Go to the airport a random day, and take the first flight to another place.
- scream "hell yeah!" from the top of a really high building
- find out the cure for a disease
- Travel the world
- The Lion King is still my favourite movie
- I don't usually write this much about me but it seems I had a lot of free time ahah
- I wish I could fly

trying to know how the website works first haha im pretty bad with technology.. apart from that, i'm sure there're awesome people looking for a host and i might need one sometime as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

fortunately I can only say good things about couchsurfing so far. I've only had good experiences and I totally recommend it if you feel like you trust the persone where you're going and has good references. You notice there's great people in every corner of the world and I want to believe many of them are in this website.

MOVIES: the fountain, the dark knight trilogy, inception, phi faith in chaos, the mechanic orange, donnie darko, the bucket list, life is beautiful, where the wild things are, the warrior, fast & furious, pulp fiction, trainspotting, the lord of the rings, star wars, the godfather, matrix, Rocky Balboa, Kill bill, Django, silence of the lambs, Schindler's list, the perfume: story of a murderer, sixth sense, between maany others haha.
My favourite directos are Tarantino, Nolan, Aronofsky, Scorsese, George Lucas, Peter Jackson, Spilberg, James Cameroon, Woody Allen, Kubrick, Clint Eastwood and Charles Chaplin.

BOOKS: The old times classic the odysesy, La iliada, edipo rey and so on. Don quijote de la mancha, 100 años de soledad, El hablador, la ciudad de los perros, La sociedad de los poetas muertos, a lot of latin american writers. De máquinas y seres vivos, El árbol del conocimiento, El hombre en busca de sentido, 1984, any dictionary, game of thrones saga, and random good books.

MUSIC: Every song as long as they are good songs, but my personal favourite is Rock & Roll, I also like Jazz a lot.
