ABOUT ME

My friends consider me funny, so I guess I am. I love to talk, especially having long conversations about those never ending topics. I love to eat! All kinds of food and cuisines. I am a film maker, have a bachelor degree in film. I love to know new people and new cultures, although I haven't yet started to do that as much as I would like to. Signing in here on CouchSurfing is an atempt to do that.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not quite sure yet. Actually I'm tryind to figure that out. But one thing I know is that I try do be good and do good. That kind of good that everybody knows what it is inside of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love too many movies to make a list, but I can tell wich one I would take with me if I could choose only one: "Lost in Translation".

I love almoust every genre that I know in music, at least one artist, if not the hole scope of it. But some things always play on my mp3 list: Belle & Sebastian, Beatles, John Williams, movie scores in general, Chico Buarque, Marisa Monte, Caetano Veloso, Tom Jobim, Norah Jones, Sigur Rós, Queen, The Who, Bob Dylan, Seu Jorge, David Bowie, Jazz (I love jazz!), Broadway Musicals, Anime scores and soundtracks, Classical Music (mostly Mozart and Bach).

I love to read, but I read less than I would want to. I noted that english authors are the majority of my most recently read books. Oh, I love Harry Potter! But if you are not a Harry Potter enthusiast, know that I love Dostoiévski too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess I haven't done nor seen one single amazing thing. But I have certainlly seen a lot of little wonderful things and most of them are in the details. Details of the world, of the daily life, of the people.

I can say that movies are, together with my parents, the foundation of who I am today. So I'll borrow some wisdom quotes that I follow:
